Here are some images from the 2-11 Hi-rise fire at 421 W Melrose in Chicago yesterday (8/18/23). I arrived as the 2-11 was requested.

Brakes are in good condition and working order
Engine Runs strong with no Warning lights. Emergency lights are all in working condition. Body roll ups are all in good working condition and alarm system is also in good working condition. Body shows some chips and small corrosion spots in some corners but overall very good. Frame and body supports show the most corrosion but still solid metal support. 1500 GPM Waterous Pump Passed last pump test in Sept of 2022. two side suctions and one front bumper inlet. Rear trash hose reel.
Reason for being auctioned – Scheduled for replacement

Tire condition – Like New 17/32″ Front, 23/32″ Rear

Exterior – Normal wear & tear
Exterior – Village decals have been removed – Impressions may remain

Known issues – none. Truck was fully functional when pulled from service.
