Aidan – Once the rigs are started in production it only take 2-3 months for E-One to get them put together. The issue right now is that the backlogs are so large with pretty much all manufacturers that they can’t even get the rigs in production. Obviously trucks and heavy rescues take a bit longer to build. Next time I’m at E-One I’ll try to see if they’ve even started the Chicago rigs.

If I’m not mistaken, CFD currently has three new Engines, three Trucks and one Tower Ladder on order from E-One and they are expected to arrive later this year or early next year. They are currently in the process of being built and it may take awhile for them to be completed.

While I don’t know when they will be delivered, the last that I had heard is the the CFD is expecting 3 Straight Aerial Ladders,1 Tower Ladder and 5 Engine’s. Does anyone know about new Haz Mat Units?
I had last heard some time ago that the CFD has been planning to get 2 new Haz Mat Units to replace the giant ALFS at 511 and 512.

Great shot and nice to use the FIELD MUSEUM as a back drop.
