My wife gave me the gift of a tour on old Engine 41 for father’s day. While on the tour Engine 2 and Fast Boat 6-8-8 caught a run on the river under the bridge at Wabash. … Rubbish in the gearing mechanism of the bridge … Fast Boat 6-8-8 had water on it from their deck gun. The fire was actually very small but the photos I feel were unique from the vantage point of the river level.
