Congrats to BFD on the village purchasing a new engine. It does look kinda big for an urban area pumper and the hose bed appears a little high up. I wonder if the idea may be a 2 for 1 replacing an engine and the squad. Otherwise, very cool.

Looks like Rosenbauer is copying Pierce, Ferrara and E-One with a similar pump configuration to the MVP,E-Max and PUC. Pierce I believe was the first to come up with a engine and a smaller pump house around 2008 when they started making the PUC’s.
