Caught these pics while switching out radios. New Truck 34 was behind 37, getting the radios installed. Should be placed in service shortly.

  So how are those newer FORD EXPLORERS working out? I know they have a long and painful list of recall and problems in their short design life.

  Tower 24 was made when they made 34 into a truck and on June 3rd 2022 tower 37 became a truck and made 16 a tower

  Wasn’t truck 37 a tower ladder? Was it replaced by tower 24 or 16?

  If Chicago keeps this trend going, they’ll eventually be an all E-One fleet…but the way the city keeps their rigs, that’ll take 40 more years.
