If it’s Ambulance 104 it’s an Ex-Homer Township rig. Dennis McGuire has a good shot of it with it’s information. They’ve had it for at least 3 years.

Michael the Response for why swap a Quint for Engine.! A Quint does everything but nothing well, especially if it runs lean on staffing.2.
Front end cost higher, operational cost higher,

Des Plaines has a new rescue engine on order for Squad 63 from Pierce, with delivery expected by the end of the summer. It seems like it’ll be based on Oak Brook Squad 93. They also recently ordered a light rescue from Alexis which will be Squad 63’s second piece.

From my understanding the Truck has issues so they are trading it in and also getting new squad and the current squad will go into reserve and they will also get rid of one of the older eone engines. I have spec of the truck and will send it to the site.

I see Oakbrook has money to replace apparatus but not to keep personnel for what the residents pay for taxes they ought to be able to do both just my opinion…..

I thought Lockport also had another Seagrave engine on order? Oak Brook is replacing that newer truck already?
