Mike C. I think they have a mix of pierce and Ferrara right now. The Mack ladder they had was a Mack/ Pirsch not a baker. That ladder was an add on to a Chicago order back in the 70’s. Cville had a fleet of Mack’s before: CF’s and a C cab. Then when they started replacing rigs they bought 2 Spartan / Alexis engines and then went to pierce in the late 90’s early 2000’s.

I really hope this rig serves them well but I’m astonished Carpentersville bought another Pierce after the catastrophic failure on their previous Pierce tower.
What does the Carpentersville fleet consist of now? A few year back, I remember they had a Mack/Baker in reserve. Do they still have it?

I like the aggressive look of the new livery on the C’ville rigs

Nice looking Truck; what is the length of the ladder? I hope the frame holds up. The single axle and springs might take a beating once the rigs loaded. What is the size of the tank?
