You can see the lighting at the timestamp.
Looks to me like they have an interior visor bar and grille lights for the front, running board lights, and a medium-sized light head below the mirror by the fender for the side, 2 deck lights in the rear windows, and flashing taillights with hide-a-ways in them for the rear.

What are the intentions for lighting? It already has a high roof line, by the time they put a lightbar on it, they won’t be able to go through the drive-thru. I’m being sarcastic.
Actually, I don’t like vans but they seem to be very practical!

Plus, full size vans are much less costly than medium to large SUV’s.

Lincolnshire runs a bc van. So does Arlington Heights. Evidently these departments find some value in it. They can run a moped if they want to. As long as the vehicle does the jobs the department expects, run with it.

I’m guessing that this is a passenger van. They could carry relief crews and or rehab or small command post.

So what do you suppose the BC’s in Crystal Lake carry that is more involved than every other battalion in the country that seems to make a regular SUV work? Curious.

Perhaps they didn’t want to cram everything into a small SUV or crossover. Then people would say why did they buy such a small vehicle.

This is the most ridiculous thing I have ever seen. Why in the world do they need to drive around in a mobile office? Are they running a fire scene or a Fortune 500 company?

FORD finally moved the tailpipe to the side where it should be instead of underneath. I don’t know why they didn’t do that to start with about 6 years ago. The van does look sharp though.
