Thanks for posting Mr. Redick. Do you know what newspaper and the date of publication? The absence of a byline and the use of official CFD photos makes me think that Bill Quinn wrote the article himself and gave it to the paper to run.
The FF holding the child is Otto Pospisil. He was a LODD in 1971. Galante went on to be commissioner. Warren became a deputy commissioner. Windle became captain of SS-1 shortly afterward and retired a battalion chief. Your father became captain of SS-3 and also retired a battalion chief. Becka became a lieutenant on SS-1 and won the Carter H. Harrison award in 1971.
