Former Knollwood FD Engine 44 along with Truck 44 went to the Lake Forest Fire Department after Knollwood was shut down.
Engine 44 is now a Lake Forest engine going into service this month with new graphics.

So is the Knollwood station still in use as part of the new arrangement? I’ve driven past it countless times over the decades and still remember when they built the new one right near the old one.

I see lake forest added led lights on the grill replaced the red rotator in back on driverside to blue striping on bumper and also took the hard section hose off the top on driverside

well at least now they have a newer engine and newer truck with a brand new engine on order

Looks Great. Will this stay frontline or go in reserve once the new engine gets delivered. Also will this Engine be added to the site soon
