  I think it is a good thing that towns are not duplicating what their neighboring towns have. Build what fits your need but knowing that you are surrounded by towers or have access to them via auto aid or on your box cards makes sense.

  I also think that the everyone needs a Truck or Tower (though some depts don’t / can’t staff it) is something that should come into play as well. Spending close to a million or more to buy a piece of apparatus that doesn’t run on a potential working fire right away is nuts. Not saying this is the case for Westmont just running
