As seen around … Roselle

This from Michael Maida:

I had an opportunity to take a picture of the new Pierce tower ladder for Roselle!  I believe it is a 2016 tower.  I was also able to get a picture of the Roselle ambulance.

Box Alarm fire in Palatine, 5-20-17

Palatine firefighters were called to 1054 N. Glenview Court for a structure fire after midnight on Saturday (5/20/17). Units arrived to find heavy fire in the rear and through the roof in an end unit of a three-story, four-unit, multi-family structure. Palatine police officers were already evacuating residents as Engine 81 advanced a line to the rear. The alarm was upgraded to a Code 4 and then a MABAS Box Alarm bringing units from Palatine Rural, Rolling Meadows, Arlington Heights, Buffalo Grove, Wheeling, Lake Zurich, and Barrington.

The fire was under control prior to the arrival of Box Alarm companies who were returned shortly after arriving in staging. A cat was rescued from one of the units and returned to it’s owner by a Palatine firefighter.
