It looks to me like the new Skokie Rescue 17 is going to match Engine 17 as Engine 17 also is a PUC model that is built on a Dash chassis.

Is Skokie getting another long body rescue pumper or will it be more conventional in length. TIA

Yes, Skokie’s new order is a Pierce Dash PUC, Medium Duty rescue body to replace the current Rescue 17. It will look a little like Deerfield’s new Squad.

Yes Arlington Heights surprises me as well. I see North Aurora went with a straight stick instead of a tower ladder. I wonder if the Dash CF for Skokie will be the replacement for Rescue 17? Glad to see Lake Zurich is going to be getting another new Engine, seems like they need it! I know Lake Zurich has one newer engine that they received in late 2012 or 2013 for their station 2, but they still have at least two 20 year old engines in frontline service.
