Thanks Andy. How many people normally run out of each station? I thought at least five would run from Stations 25 and 27 plus six from Station 26 which would include the battalion chief. That would put three on the engine, truck, and quint plus two on the ambulances. I understand now that the ambulance at Station 27 may be a jump company?
I had also heard that a few years ago the utility at Station 25 would sometimes run with two men so that Tower 25 wouldn’t always have to go out on EMS runs. That would put around seven men on duty at Station 25 which is a lot of people at a suburban house in this day and age.

This one is going in service as A26, the current Freightliner in service as A26 will move to A25. A third Horton/Freightliner should be ordered shortly after the first of the year.
