The Mack CF had become standard for most of the New York City Fire Department engine companies. Chicago only had one such engine which was also the only one that had a fixed deck gun on it. It was a 1971 assigned to Engine 35. Chicago didn’t begin retrofitting it’s engines with deck guns until around 1982.

Very nice. The MACK CF had a very long and healthy run. Couldn’t go to far without finding one back then.
