They are going to 1/3 of the tower assignments, couldn’t pass that up. Nothing official has been released yet

Getting on at Torrance I saw them from the back. Catching up to them I saw they were CFD so I shot ahead, found a safe place to stop and took the photos. Got two more, but this was by far the best. Glad you enjoyed it.

They are right on time delivery was expected between Feb and April so within the time frame given.

Has Chicago fire department order any new apparatus they had a bid for 85 foot Ariel trucks have you heard anything I think January 8 the bid was due

Thanks for submitting and putting up the photos. It looks like they speeded up the construction of the tower ladders it’s great to see some new rigs in town. I wonder as to how many weeks it will take before they are ready to go in service? Considering that they will have to train the crews on the rigs I would guess probably in April however that is only a guess and I’m sure that someone on this site will probably be able to give us better information as to when the towers will be ready to go in service.
