Correction of prior post: I’m referring to the 1939 Rosenbaum/Norris grain elevator conflagration, and not the 1966 Continental Grain fire as I mistakenly stated.

Also- the top photo of the FBs may be a reversed/fipped image, or the boats may have changed positions during the course of the fire (as compared to the pictures in the original posts of the fire).

If you compare the photos in the Continental Grain Elevator posts (see Rj’s link), it’s rather apparent that it’s the same fire (compare smokstack, water tower, dust collector in the photos).
