This from Dan Shevlin:
The Fire Alarm Office received one call from a cell phone reporting a building on fire at 33rd Str & Keeler. A still was sent to this location. Eng99 found nothing. As it turns out the Cicero Fire Department was receiving the rest of the calls for 33rd Str & Kostner for a trucking company on fire. Cicero Fire Dispatch contacted us on IFERN & the location was corrected.

All spare rigs are kept at fleet located at North Ave & Throop St., Some rigs are kept inside and some are kept in the yard.

Same thing with D-530 former E15. It was involved in an accident responding to a Still about 5 or 6 years ago, destroying the front bumper. They never got it back and ran with a spare then a hand me down x2 for a couple years. I just recently saw a video and pictures of the rig currently in service running as a spare. I don’t know where they are getting them from.

D-528 was first assigned to Engine 61 (1993-2001) and then to Engine 63 (2001-2005). I also haven’t seen it around; no idea where they’ve been hiding it ’til now.

Almost looks like 57 on the door. Can’t really tell but it has a 7 at the end.
