It’ll be like Elmhurst, introducing a new Pierce in an all E-One fleet. I would have gone with another E-One, but the new Pierce will look nice once they get it!

Mike…just because they are broke in their operating budget (which is where 99% of town’s problems come from, as that incorporates salary) doesn’t necessarily mean their capitol fund has been depleted. It’s probably not as healthy as before, but it could still be accumulating money over the years.
Also, as you know, FDs aren’t like the private sector. We can’t just put off buying new rigs indefinitely like you can office chairs or computers. Plus…they got their moneys worth out of that E-One…they ran the s*it out of it, and kept it for a LONG time.

I was shocked when I read this. It will be interesting to see a Pierce in a all E-One department.

I guess it’s the end of the E-One era at Dar-
Wood. Too bad, a new HP100 would have looked good there. Or even a 100 foot platform. Oh well.

How does DWFD afford this? I thought you were broke? After two failed referendums, where is the money coming from? Remember when you’re in a hole, stop digging.
