The Roselle Fire Department in MABAS Division 12 has been added to the site. Roselle runs out of one station packed full of apparatus, most of which was built by E-ONE. They have two engines, a tower ladder, and a wetside tanker in addition to a Darley heavy rescue, two medic units, and a 1927 Pirsch which has been restored for parade use.
This is a combination department with 13 full-time personnel, 33 part-time, and six contract medics. They cover the town of Roselle as well as unincorporated areas of Roselle, Itasca, Medinah, and Schaumburg. Some of their district is in Cook County although the majority is located in Dupage County.

I drove past the station last night, and in place of the squad was a smaller rescue type unit similar to Long Grove’s rescue 55. I didn’t have time to see the whole bay but I wonder if they replaced the old Spartan with that.

Dan, the shot of Rescue 14 was taken in the 1980s shortly after the unit was delivered. You are correct that it was taken at the old Walnut Street station which has long since been vacated by the fire department. There have been at least two occupants of that building since the fire department consolidated into one central station, and I believe that Walnut Street is currently vacant.

Larry, was the last photo here taken recently? I remember this truck from when I was a kid..but that looks like it is over at the facility on Walnut St. Just curious if it is still there. I was a little disappointed to see that they replaced their previous tanker, but I suppose it was getting old.
