Looking for Your Assistance
The Highland Park Fire Department will be celebrating our 125th Anniversary this year. The mayor has dedicated this year’s 4th of July parade to the fire department. The theme of our parade will be the progression of the fire service. With that being said, we are reaching out to all of you in search of antique fire apparatus (staff cars, ambulances, engines, trucks etc…) to participate. Our thought is to have all antique vehicles at the beginning of the parade followed by today’s modern apparatus. Apparatus will be lining up for the parade at 0930 hrs with the parade starting at 1000 hrs. The fire department is leading the parade and we estimate it will last no longer than 30 minutes.
If you have any vehicles that can participate, new or old, it would be greatly appreciated. If you can help, please contact me or Executive Assistant Terrie Jarosz using the information listed below.
