Naperville Fire Department, located in Naperville, IL.
Rescue Utility Vehicle
A few features of this custom built vehicle:
– CNG compartment, adjustable shelving, transverse compartment shelf and compartment heater
– Rear Tailgate, storage area (with cover) and perimeter lighting.

This new rescue 1 vehicle is in service and responding to calls mentioned in an earlier post on the site about alternate response vehicles for minor calls like elevator alarms, trouble alarms etc.

… the Knollwood Fire Department picked up their medium rescue vehicle yesterday. Not only is it fitted with a custom fire suppression system (8GPM @ 2,800 PSI), but has ample storage space too!
