The Daily Herald has an article announcing the death of Streamwood Deputy Chief Mark Hudson:
… a 20-year veteran of the village’s fire department. … in 1992 … he became a firefighter and paramedic in Streamwood.
Hudson rose through the ranks of the department, becoming a lieutenant in 1999, a battalion chief in 2001 and deputy chief in 2006.
Visitation will be from 3 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 8 until the time of service at 8 p.m. that evening at Countryside Funeral Home and Crematory, 1640 Greenmeadows Blvd. (at Barrington Road) in Streamwood/Schaumburg.
A second visitation will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday, Nov. 9 at Norberg Memorial Home, 701 E. Thompson St. in Princeton, Ill. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 10 at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Oakland Cemetery in Princeton.
