Box Alarm fire in Cicero, 10-5-17 (part 2)

This from Steve Redick:

Roosevelt and Austin in Cicero. This fire bordered on Chicago who did send a full still response, but Cicero FD was already on the scene. Engine 96 was used to supply a ladder pipe on Truck 29. It was a vVacant building and most of the fire was knocked down by my arrival, but I captured a few interesting images including a Cicero engine pumping from a Chicago hydrant

Box Alarm fire in Cicero, 10-5-17 (part 1)

This from Jeff Braun Jr.;

Here are some photos from the Box Alarm in Cicero at 5939 W. Roosevelt Rd. (10/5/17). Calls initially came at Approx. 2300 Hours, and Chicago responded first. After they arrived on scene, they realized it was Cicero’s fire, but they were able to stay on scene and assist since it was a large commercial structure (even though they are not due on the Box Alarm for Cicero). Units from Cicero, Berwyn, Chicago, North Riverside, Oak Park, Forest Park, Stickney, Lyons, and Bedford Park were on scene. Thanks. -Jeff Braun Jr. (COUNTY-WIDE FIRE PHOTOGRAPHY)

Commercial building fire in Cicero, 6-17-15

This from Josh Boyajian:

The Cicero Fire Department responded to a very well involved building fire on Ogden Avenue (5419 W 30th Street) during afternoon rush hour traffic today (6/17/15). As companies went enroute they reported a large black header in the sky. The fire was in a two-story ordinary, 100×75, auto body shop. Companies encountered heavy fire on arrival and used three master streams and multiple handlines to knock down most of the fire. Companies on scene were: Cicero E1, E2, E3, T1, T2, F-7, F-1, F-12, and Berwyn T904.
