Excerpts from the indychannel.com:
After a Brownsburg (IN) boy with special needs was denied a visit with Santa because of his service dog, the fire department stepped up way to make a special visit. Members of the Brownsburg Fire Territory brought Santa to him!
Tyler, tried to visit Santa last week in Indianapolis but was denied entry because of his service dog.
Santa ditched his reindeer for the night and hitched a ride in a fire truck to get to Tyler’s house for the surprise. Not only did Tyler get a visit from Santa, but he and his dog got to explore the fire truck, blow the horn, and use a hose! Santa brought Tyler his very own fire truck. The fire department captured the visit live on their Facebook page. They also took the time to give some education about service animals.

Very heartwarming indeed. I would have put something other than coal in the stockings of those that denied him a Santa visit. But we won’t talk about that here.

Great job on behalf of the firefighters! The people who denied the service dog will likely be in big trouble as they broke federal law.

What a great thing to do. And several lumps of coal to the people that denied him Santa to begin with, although I’ll bet this Santa was better than “that” Santa.
