Normal Illinois has a truck that is a 2000 Pierce they also have a 2010,2011 and a 2014 Pierce as well. Remember all of their rigs have rust. The problem may have started in the late 90’s and early 00’s but it still is continuing today.

They do look sharp.
I think but am not sure that the PIERCE rigs with these problems were built in the late 90’s to about the mid 00’s.
I hope they corrected the problem but it still is troubling that they are stonewalling the warranty.
They may very well have corrected the problem but all it takes is one time to alienate a customer and this sort of behavior won’t help PIERCE over time.

I’ve always thought Glenview’s rigs were the nicest around–and ya’ll can see why–another beauty! The now-former engine 8 was also a new Pierce, that went into service in 2010. Glenview also seems to be a stout buyer of Pierce the last several years. Never heard any complaints from them about rusting, etc. Anyone else have any input?
