This from Josh Boyajian:
Oak Park had a garage fire this afternoon at 1113 s Taylor. I didn’t make it in for anything good but here are some rigs shots of both of their front line engines 602 & 603, their new tower ladder 631, and their new buggy 620.

The old 620 command vehicle, the Dodge Sprinter, will be kept as a reserve command vehicle, and will be made available for incidents in division 11 as needed.

That is a green strobe light. It signifies the vehicle is “in command” when lit. Therefore fire crews reporting for assignment know which of the SUVS on scene has the incident commander in it.

On the BC car 620, what is the green thing on the cabin roof just forward of the rear light bar?
