  Yeah the quint is gone, they should have never purchased it in the first place. Station 1 is closed and used for storage only.

  They got rid of their Ascendant quint? What is Station 1 used for, storage only?

  Jim they did hire many FTE’s because of Covid, when departments said no more secondary employment. Since then station 1 was closed and their staffing daily is now 10 – 3 at each house and 1 BC. Stations 3 and 4 have an engine, pumper / tanker and ambulance and station 2 has / had an engine, the quint, now tower ladder and an ambulance.

  What is Lake Villa’s rundown, staffing, and apparatus? I thought they went full-time at all 4 stations a while back.

  What a waste of money. They don’t have staffing, they just run jump companies and that tower ladder isn’t going anywhere. They should have kept the original truck they had.
