Austin – we have a 2014 E-One 95′ platform, and last summer looked at a Sutphen 100′ platform. The main complaint with the Sutphen we heard was the aerial could not be climbed like a platform built on an ladder. We routinely climb up and down on the ladder and the members felt it would be disadvantageous to not have an easy way up or down. Otherwise the Sutphen 100′ MM platform is a great rig.

I’m curious why they went with E-ONE for this when they have been buying Sutphen engines recently. Sutphen makes good quality apparatus, and I would assume the turn around time is faster than E-ONE.

Those 95 Platforms are rock solid and last forever. Better choice than the HP100 in my opinion.
