I don’t know if you know this or not but Engine 94 is temporarily running out of Engine 108’s house as they are doing remodeling work at Engine 94 and so Engine 94 was the 2nd Engine and was alot closer to the scene of the fire than normal. Had Engine 94 been at its regular house the 2nd Engine probably would have been Engine company 79.

I am amazed any of the old HME/LTI ladders are in good enough shape to be reserve. Tower 21 was beat to hell when it was retired, I’m sure Tower 5 was in the same shape.
