From the Fire Service Inc. Facebook page:
Congratulations and a huge thank you to Deputy Chief Trinidad Garza and the Village of Bolingbrook Fire Department on the recent delivery of their newest Type 1 Wheeled Coach ambulance.
This unit has some well thought out changes supporting the ever expanding mission of the agency. Designed with turnout gear compartments on each side, and a specific compartment for Rescue Task Force equipment, BFD EMS operations become more efficient.
Also the use of Linex body lining on the lower portion of the module will add a level of body protection to areas which are closest to road debris.
Wheeled Coach patented Cool Bar HVAC and warning light housing provides for industry leading cooling ability, along with true 45 degree warning visibility.Whelen M series LED exterior lights and interior LED domes, Stryker PowerLoad and built to CN 10 and 11 specifications, this unit will provide the members safe, consistent, and reliable EMS transportation for years to come. We are grateful for Bolingbrook’s continued confidence in Fire Service,Inc. and our portfolio of brands we represent.
