Are those Fire extinguishers in the 3rd compartment on the drivers side, or are those air packs? It looks like there are saws in the fourth compartment on the drivers side.

The old Squad 55 will be sold. It is OOS, stripped of equipment, and will not be placed back in service with Schaumburg at any point.

Cmk420,
Former Squad 55 has been moved to Station 52 in reserve status for now. I haven’t heard yet if they are going to try and sell it or not yet.

What station is the former Squad 55 (as a reserve) going to? I am guessing it is too large to keep everything at 55.

Interesting mixture of Code 3 and Whelen light heads. Why not keep them all the same? I took a Code 3 lighthead off to replace recently. Guess what it said on the back of it? “Made in China” Stick to Whelen! MADE IN AMERICA!
