I noticed that both of Mundelein’s engines were on the scene however did they also send in their Sutphen quint? If the quint wasn’t there did they at least send in the Libertyville tower ladder or quint? I know that one of the problems in those communities like Mundelein is that they usually don’t have enough men on duty to run with more then one fire rig. I also understand that they usually have not more then three or four on duty in most stations so with four they’ll have two on the engine or quint and two on the ambulance. If worse comes to worse all three or four will jump on the engine or quint and the ambulance will go out of service.

Nice photos of both the new Pierce and KME engines! Is the KME running out of station 2?
