  These must be the last yellow Elmhurst rigs. End of an era. Starting in the late 60’s/early 70’s the entire fleet was repainted. Even their 1940 White/Darley engine which, as a kid, I thought looked pretty neat with an oversized green ‘5’ on each cab door- it was a reserve at old Station 3 until the mid 70’s- maybe someone can post a pic or two of it. Nice pictures and thanks for sharing
