This is our fourth PUC engine which replaced the Crimson engine. We now have an all Pierce fleet. Correct when Tower 38 goes down we will switch into a spare PUC engine. We do rotate engines to keep mileage and wear and tear down on them and this is working out for us. Harry about your opinion of Wheaton, its a great city to live in and work for.

I am not crazy about wheaton but I have to admit they do have a nice looking fleet plain but nice and as for what anyone says pierce makes some great trucks palm beach gardens fl are my favorite rigs out there some may argue fire vehicles should be red but intill u see a bright green rig like palm beach gardens fl you cannot appreciate the beauty and there rigs don’t have time to rust because they replace them very quickly

The black wheels lend a nice touch.

Nice looking engine! I believe they might rotate the engine companies. They rotate the 10 PUC with the 13 and 15 PUC’s now they will add one more PUC to the rotation.

They run two engines and the tower ladder out of their three stations as the front line suppression companies. I am not sure, but I think they have two reserve engines because when Tower 38 goes down, they run an engine out of that station.

Someone correct me if I’m wrong, but i believe this is the fourth PUC Wheaton has received in the last 7 years. Will this be replacing one or are they keeping all four of them?
