Grants totaling a little more than $1 million have been awarded to the Burbank Fire Department and the Orland Fire Protection District.
Through the Department of Homeland Security’s Assistance to Firefighters Grant program, the Burbank Fire Department is receiving a little more than $861,000 to purchase new portable radios and for equipment training.
A grant for $143,000, also through the Assistance to Firefighters Grant program, has been awarded to the Orland Fire Protection District to purchase new portable radios.

I believe that the grant was written by Burbank is for Motorola walkie talkies for all Division 21 departments.

I believe the Burbank grant is for all of MABAS div. 21 departments as a group.

What did Burbank get for training equipment? Just curious because that’s a lot of money.
