2-11 Alarm fire in Chicago, 4-15-17 (more)

Excerpts from the Chicagotribune.com:

Three people were injured in a fire that swept through an apartment building in the East Side neighborhood Saturday morning. Chicago firefighters responded to the two-story structure in the 9500 block of South Ewing Avenue about 6:05 a.m.

One person was taken to an area hospital in critical condition from burns, according to a media notification from the Chicago Fire Department.

Another person was hurt jumping, and the third person suffered minor lacerations. Firefighters also rescued two dogs from the residence.
