On Monday, January 11, 2016, the Deerfield-Bannockburn FPD had a wet-down to place their new Squad 19 into service. As the inclement, frigid temperatures were an obstacle to using the water outside, several members of the gathering used a hardline inside the house once the firefighters and officers pushed the new rig into the station.
Also during the wet-down, the squad was dedicated to the memory of Deerfield-Bannockburn FF/PM Brad Hytoff. His family was on-hand and his parents placed a plaque on the driver’s door for the dedication.

Nice looking rig. Is it at 19 or is it at 20 for the time being? If it is at 20. When will it be moved to 19?

I was just going to say that I would hope they wet it down inside. Otherwise…did you ever get your car washed in winter and the next day you couldn’t get in and… 🙂
Nice looking DASH CF.
