The light tower is in the middle between the cab and hose bed on the top of the rig on Engine #5. If you go to the District’s Web Site, http://www.lockportfire.org, under “operations” then “fire stations” pick Station #5 and look at old Engine #5. All that has changed is the 5 is now a 3. Same graphics.
The 1999 RE-1 has been a very good reserve and is in good shape still. It has been a reserve since 2003. JM

Sharp looking new engines and love the red steel bumpers too. Glad they stayed with the current graphics and put the mechanical Q2B’s on them. Where is the light tower located at on Engine 5?
Any pics of the “new” Engine 3? I am surprised that they will sell the former Engine 1 though and keep RE1 since that rig is a 1999. The old Engines 1 and 3 were both 2003 models.

Both Engines are in service at their respective stations. The prior Engine #5 is now Engine #3. The prior Engine #1 will be sold in the future and the prior Engine #3 will become Reserve Engine #2. Both new engines are 1500 GPM/750W/30F. Both are identical engines with the exception of Engine #5 has a light tower. JM

Sharp looking Engines!! Are they 1250 or 1500 GPM pumpers? When will they be at their respective stations? Are they at Global now?

That looks sharp and traditional.
