The Aurora Regional Fire Museum is an independent nonprofit 501c(3) educational institution that features a variety of family-friendly, hands-on, interactive exhibits, designed to educate and entertain. The museum is funded by grants, donations, memberships, and (lastly) earned income such as admissions fees, facility rentals and gift shop sales.

For their 60th Anniversary, Reuland Food Service is holding a popularity contest among twenty-seven local non-profit organizations. They will award $5,000 to the organization who recieves the most popular votes between now and December 31.  One vote per e-mail address / per web-browser.

First Fridays:
On December 4, the Aurora Regional Fire Museum will be one of over a dozen venues participating in the holiday edition of Aurora Downtown’s First Fridays. The museum will be open from 6 to 9pm and offering FREE admission.  See the new exhibit “Teamwork, Brotherhood and Change” and enjoy the museum as it’s decked out for the holidays.

The Aurora Regional Fire Museum is an independent nonprofit 501c(3) organization located in Aurora’s fully restored 1894 old Central Fire Station and features a variety of family-friendly,  hands-on, interactive exhibits, designed to educate and entertain.  The museum also offers group tours, hosts a variety of lectures and educational programs, and participates in numerous parades, special events, and community festivals.
