It’s amazing that departments that have been all Pierce are going elsewhere. I think they are not going to be very happy

I’m sure they’ll be fine. E-one met their spec the best and as for ladders. E-one builds a way better ladder then Pierce from ladder construction to jack spread. Look at Chicago running a front line tower that is almost 30 years old and the spares. It says a lot there.

I was told that it will be in service by the end of this coming week. It needs to have the radios installed and equipment needs to be mounted. The radios will be installed Tuesday and all the equipment from the old tower is at Station 23. All they have to do is mount it. The drivers side of the tower will be the Rescue equipment and the officers side will be the fire equipment.
Once in service the 2007 Enforcer will become Engine 21. They also said that one of the key reasons that they went with E-One over Pierce is E-One has one of the strongest torque boxes in the industry.
