Maybe now after years of controversy within this department they can move forward and continue to weed out the bad and rise up to what most fire departments are known for: community service.

Here are a few shots of the 2 rigs that MP has now. The van is a utility vehicle, and the truck is a new Pierce which will replace the MackCF (X-FDNY) and Pennsville, N.J. As of now the Pierce is not in service until formal training is done.Dennis

Normally I get much closer to the rescue demo at the air and water show. Since my vantage point was different I was able to get a unique but distant view of the air-sea rescue chopper maneuvering with the city skyline as a backdrop … pretty cool …Steve
