From the Fire Service, Inc. Facebook page:
The Aurora Fire Department ordered an additional Wheeled Coach type I ambulance. This will be the twin of Medic 1 delivered in March. Anticipated delivery in July.
Congratulations to Chief Randy Deicke, Deputy Chief Randy Banker, the apparatus committee, and the City of Batavia Fire Department on their purchase of a new E-ONE Typhoon custom engine.

It is slated to replace our current Engine 1 (approx. 15 year-old Pierce), which will probably stay at Station 1, becoming Engine 3 (reserve engine). The current Engine 3 (early 90’s Pierce) will be sold. At least that’s what I hear at my lower rung of the ladder!
Looking forward to working on the new rig. I believe it’s our first E-One.

Will the new Batavia Engine be at Station 1 or 2?
