This from Eric Haak:
At 1412hrs on Sunday, November 24th, companies on Chicago’s south side were dispatched to a report of a structure fire on the 8000 block of South May Street. Three minutes later, Engine 129 reported they had a fire in the basement of a 30×125, 3.5-story ordinary, occupied apartment building. At 1420hrs, Battalion 18 reported that he had heavy fire in the basement and 1st floor of the building and he called for a Still & Box which is about the same time the first picture shown in this gallery was taken. The fire eventually made its way to the second floor. Besides the apparatus shown in the photos, Engine 54 took a hydrant on Aberdeen Street which is one block to the east and stretched a line through the gangway to sector 3. The box was struck at 1514hrs and the Red Cross was assisting 11 occupants who were displaced by this fire.

Dylan. It all depends on the fire. Ive been on multiple fires where there has been 2 mains to the roof in sector 1. All depends on what the chief wants.

Yeah the 2nd Truck isnt suppose to be in front of the building only the 2 Engines and first Truck is suppose to be in sector 1. But I have no idea what was wrong with the FF he looked a little disoriented when he came out of the building.

Truck 20 was second truck. Still engines were 129 & 73. Box engines were 54 & 121. 122 was sent to another still that was given out at the same time as the box. Trucks on the still were 50 & 20. RIT was truck 40 with the 21st. Tower Ladder 34 went on the Box. I didn’t want to post the injured firefighter because I was not sure why he was being transported as it did not look like a physical injury.

I am still wondering why Truck 20 was on May too. Also 1 FF was injured and was taken to Christ Hospital.
