What happened with this?

Here is a link to OGSI’s MOGS 50/100 page, the MOGS 100 is probably going to be the center of the system, the other option depending on fit in the truck will be a CFP100 system which is a modular based system with the generator, storage tank, seive and filter beds, and filling station all seperate pieces. We are looking at both inside and outside mounted regualted oxygen manifolds that can have whatever device needed like an NRB or cannula hooked up. This will be an interesting project and there are a few eyes watching to see how this truck comes out.

Mitch the O2 generation capability part of the new air rig sounds very interesting. Can you elaborate on the specs and capabilities more?

This truck is also going to carry a mobile medical oxygen generating compressor/plant. This will be for a mass casualty, rehab, extended scene use. I’ve been working on the oxygen part of this for over a year now.

Dennis thanks, so if I get it right the new one’s gonna be a mobile refill rig. 1st of this type in the CFD I guess..?!

David no it’s not the same as the current air trucks. The current ones only carry air bottles, there’s no cascade system on them. The new air truck is spec’d with a cascade system.

Shaan, is that a serious question?

The Workstar will look great in the CFD colors

Looks like a real heavy duty chassis compared to the Fords and Freightliners the Air Mask now runs. Maybe this will sound stupid, but is a oxygen fill truck the same as the classic bottle delivery truck (like the current 6-4-5 or 6-4-6)?!
