Lake Villa’s new Station 4 is being built on IL-59 just south of Route 132, next to the Lake Villa Township’s offices in unincorporated Fox Lake Hills

The reason for the blue and white rigs was that up til a few years ago the Fire district and Rescue squad were two different departments. They have since merged. The rescue squads rigs were just re lettered and not repainted as they were going to get replaced eventually

About time lvfd matched up their rigs! Couldn’t stand that blue and white. Just didn’t look good.

Lake Villa’s new unit looks very nice! Are they switching from Osage to AEV?

I’ve seen a new Cicero ambulance at the Superior Ambulance shop in Elmhurst a few weeks ago. It is a Mercedes Sprinter.
