This from Larry Shapiro:
I visited the Spartan ERV aerial plant in Ephrata, PA on Monday. The new quint for Huntley was out back having the stress test performed on the aerial ladder. Here are several photos. The unit will be shipped to South Dakota any day now (if it hasn’t already left) to have the pump module and body mounted for completion. It is a 103′ rear mount in a Spartan Gladiator chassis with the Evolution facia.

Countryside Ambulance 412 is a 2012 Horton Type I on a Ford F-450 4×4 chassis. Larry Shapiro photo
The new ambulance and engine at Countryside FPD Station 2 have been added to the website. Countryside numbers their apparatus by station and response position. This means that any physical ambulance running first-out at station 2 is Ambulance 412. Each vehicle has a slot with a slide-in number to designate which unit it is. Therefore, when viewing the page for Countryside Station 2, there are two units listed as Ambulance 412 and two shown as Engine 412 as well.

The engine is a 2012 Rosenbauer America built in their South Dakota facility (formerly Central States). It has a top-mount operator’s panel with speed-lays and a short body style to minimize the overall wheelbase. The new engine carries 1,000 gallons of water and 50 gallons of Class-A foam. The pump is rated at 2,000-GPM. It is on a 2011 Spartan chassis with a Gladiator cab with the Evolution Series trim.

The rear of the engine houses cordless Hurst eDraulic extrication tools that are battery operated.

The Sauk Village Fire Station. Karl Klotz photo
The Sauk Village Fire Department in MABAS Division 27 has been added to the site. Sauk Village has a relatively new fleet of Crimson apparatus on Spartan chassis with Gladiator cabs featuring the Evolution trim package. The rigs are black over red with a gold stripe. This scheme replaces white apparatus with a blue strip that the department has been running for quite some time. There is still one white engine left in the fleet, a 1995 Spartan Gladiator/S&S TM engine.
Among the units from Crimson are an engine, a pumper/squad, and one of the area’s few mid-mount tower ladders. Previously, Sauk Village ran with a Hendrickson/3D/Darley/65′ Snorkel and another engine from S&S on a Spartan chassis.
Sauk Village recently retired this 1980 Hendrickson 1871L/3D/Darley 65' Snorkel and replaced it with a 2008 Spartan Gladiator Crimson mid-mount tower ladder. Larry Shapiro photo
