Two Mount Prospect firefighters were recognized for their many years of service at the Mount Prospect Village Board meeting Tuesday (Oct. 16).
Kevin Christianson, a 30-year veteran of the Mount Prospect Fire Department, was presented with a gold-framed “Career Employee Certificate of Service”. He is also a member of the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) Urban Search and Rescue Team, in charge of hazardous materials.
Also recognized, but unable to be present at the meeting, was Lt. Joel Knoll with 20 years of service in Mount Prospect, He has received 17 letters of recognition and has been a paramedic for 18 of those years.
