2-Alarm commercial fire in East hazel Crest, 2-13-16

MABAS 24’s second fire of the day, a 2-alarm in East Hazel Crest. Commercial building in the 1500 block of W. 174TH St. Mutual aid companies included South Holland, Homewood, Harvey, Lansing, Lynwood, Munster, CC Hills, Tinley Park, Markham, Chicago Heights, Flossmoor, Thornton, & Phoenix.

2-Alarm apartment complex fire in Glenwood, 2-13-16

The Glenwood Fire Department went to a 2nd Alarm Saturday morning (2/13/16) for fire in a two-story, multi-unit building at 800 E. 191st Place.

Here are some images of the 2nd alarm in south suburban Glenwood.  The initial alarm came in around 11:30.  There was heavy fire in the cockloft which eventually consumed the entire length of the building.

Storms keep area fire departments busy

The MABAS 24 Task Force went into Morris for their flood today. Tinley Park, South Holland, East Hazel Crest, and Calumet City were responding. They met up at the Tinley Park Convention Center. Here are some shots.
