Chicago Fire Department (IL) Mobile Rehab Vehicle
This mobile rehabilitation vehicle was recently completed for the Chicago Fire Department and features a Freightliner MT-55G chassis, TQS 308HP V8 engine and an Allison 2200HS automatic transmission. The all aluminum body has several of our Extreme Duty body storage compartments for gear storage and a custom aluminum flip down step entry. We added a power retracting awning to the curbside for shade. A Rosco Vision 360° camera surround camera system has also been added. An Igloo 5 gallon water dispenser is secured to the rear of the vehicle with a truck mount bracket.
Inside, the vehicle features a sliding cab divider door. A single workstation has been added with a commercial grade cabinet. Dry erase writing surface is included on the cabinet door. Fixed bench seats are included on the driver and passenger sides. Overhead ceiling grab bars are also installed. Dual Klimaire mini split heat pump systems are installed along with ventilation fans. A direct discharge furnace handles the heating duties in the winter. An Onan Commercial Quiet gas generator supplies plenty of electric power to the vehicle. We also prewired the vehicle for communications radios.
